Raison d'être
I'm editing and revising (slightly) Revelation in anticipation of releasing it on Amazon Kindle. For those of you that haven't heard of it (not the device but the section of Amazon), it's fostering an out and out explosion of Indy authors.
Anyway, bottom line is that I've forgotten how much I love this book. Nope, I'm not trying to sell you anything, just expressing my excitement. The words are several years old, and I believe I write better now, but if this book was ever made into a movie, you couldn't pry me out of the theater.
That thought isn't birthed in conceit. Those of you who have met me understand how passionate I am about the crazy stuff I'm passionate about. It doesn't matter if I've written the words, or if they come from someone else. If it strikes a chord, the chord is well and truly struck, and it resonates. Not yesterday, not today, but through my whole life. The things that adrenalize me now--books, music, games, movies, have consumed me as long as I can remember. I only hope I'm just as passionate when I draw my last breath.
So I have some words for you. Everyone out there wondering about their life, wondering about their destiny, wondering about their purpose, wondering about their raison d'être. Wonder on. Look for that special something that strums your soul and never, flipping ever, let it go.
