Happy Birthday to me!

My blogging buddies are putting me to shame. Brad Smith over at Hexsides and Handgrenades is throwing up something new (and great) just about every hour, or so it seems.

But I have an excuse. I'm very lucky you see, and I'm really not completely sure what I have done to deserve my good fortune. The last two weeks have been spent readying and delivering my youngest daughter to college (her sophomore year). We no sooner returned from that adventure than my oldest daughter came to spend a few days with Janice and I, and as she left my middle daughter (and a friend) visited for a few days. Sprinkle in outings with our own friends and it's been a very busy two weeks. Hence the dearth of blog posts.

I hope to get back on it, but I can see that it's already shaping up to one humdinger of a week. We are prepping about a dozen games for printing at LNLP, and I'm trying to squeeze in globs of words for my new novel, World at War: Revenge, late at night, and early in the morning.

Revenge will be the true sequel to World at War: Revelation. All I can say is that I'm sorry it took so long. That, and feel very lucky. You see, I'm 60 today, alive and loved.

Mark H. Walker served 23 years in the United States Navy, most of them as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver, he is the author of Desert Moon, an exciting mecha, military scifi novel with a twist, with plenty of damn science fiction in it despite what any reviewer says, as well as World at War: Revelation, a creepy, military action, with a love story, alternate history, World War Three novel thing, and numerous short stories. They are all available from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing right here. Give them a try. I mean, what the hell?
