I assume that most of you have heard of Eve Online. If you haven't, well... there is this thing called the internet. Just kidding. Anyway, for those who don't know, Eve Online is a massively multiplayer online RPG with a constantly evolving universe. The players pilot star cruisers, battleships, or what have you, through over 7,000 star systems, plying their trade as merchants, miners, explorers, or fighters. Evidently, a lot of them like the fighter option. Recently over 4,000 of these fighting star ships met in the largest online space battle in the history of online space

The company that began by mailing you a movie with no return date is conquering the world. Netflix stock, which a year ago was trading at $58.92 per share, has risen 318%. If you bought a share on Friday, it would have set you back $246.18. Okay, with all that money why can't they start streaming more good movies?

If you aren't reading The Remaining by D.J. Molles, you should be. Molles has blended authentic action, interesting characters, and a unique brand of infected, to create a series of novels that waste too much of my time. Here's the scoop. Post zombie apocalypse, Captain Lee Harden is tasked with rebuilding civilization in North Carolina, but to do so he must fight cunning packs of infected who grow smarter each day, renegade survivors out for blood, and the inner political dealings of those opposed to him. Well written and superbly plotted, I've plowed through three of the four novels in just under two weeks. Only available for digital readers.
