I Might be too Stupid to Write.

Grim week for both yours truly and the Yellow Beast. Not only have I come to believe that I lack the requisite intelligence quotient to game, but I'm also coming to realize that I might just be too dumb to write. My good friend and sometimes editor, Norm, rightly pointed out that yesterday's blog is miss-titled. If the blog was "semi" daily, I'd be writing to you all twice a day, which I only did here and here. Norm tells me that the word I'm looking for is "quasi." Thanks, Norm.

Meanwhile the Yellow Beast has a "Service Engine Soon" light that baffles Flow Mini, in Winston Salem, as well as my local mechanic. Seems the engine is running a wee bit lean, and no one can figure out why. The leaness doesn't seem to bother the Beast, as it joyfully screams through the gears as quickly as ever.

A couple of other thoughts and updates:
  1. Restore Deck and Concrete Finish is awesome. Unfortunately, it is like painting with mud, and takes about 2d6 + 1 times longer to paint the deck than our former finish.
  2. In designing a White Star Rising (WSR) tournament scenario, I've stumbled on what I think are some significantly good ideas/upgrades for the system, including a semi quasi-elegant method to incorporate moving fire, and an upgrade to the artillery, assault, and chit pull mechanics.
  3. My apologies to the non-gamers. Not only is your life a smidgen bit more boring, but item #2 will mean nothing to you.
  4. Tomorrow brings a dissertation on the five greatest vampires of all time.
Headed to the lake today. Later.

Sorry, Mark. I do that to everybody now. It's a public service and a social handicap. I will put the blue pencil away now.

Ha! You know it doesn't bother me. I can use all the help that I can get.
