Sshh! It's my Fantasy

I was going to headline this blog with a Scarlett Johansson picture, but that would have been disingenuous. Although I think Ms. Johansson is a beautiful woman and a top-notch actress, I don't fantasize about her. Honest.  I think. Anyway, if I had put her picture up here I might have garnered more hits. Folks are just that way. Especially us guy folks. We're pretty shallow, which might be a reason that we are also pretty happy. But this post is about my fantasy, a fantasy that I came face to face with this weekend. My kids will vouch for me. They've had to listen to me spin the fantasy time and again. It's simply, really. We tour the country in a family-stuffed camper, race car on a trailer behind. You see, I've loved racing  since my big brother brought home a slot car set when I was knee high to a grasshopper. Obscure analogy aside (what does that mean, anyway?). It would be such fun to drive the land, see the great sites, run my car at the great road courses, and share it all with my family.

Not sure what is in it for my family, but hey, it's my fantasy, and I'm sticking to it.
Back to last weekend... we were hiking a trail, Howard's Knob (please, stop snickering) I think it was named. On the campground before the trail, I spied the pictured camper and car. By coincidence, I saw that car on track the day before at Virginia International Raceway's Fastest Track Car in America competition. Too cool.

A river runs through it. Always.
