Six (or Seven) Ways to Increase Your eBook Sales

Great blog post from Smashwords' Mark Cook right here. In it he discusses six methods to rejeuvanate an indie ebook's sales. The post, however, is misslabled. In reality it's not just about bringing back that one particular book. No, it's a map to increasing your ebook sales right across the board. I intend to write a post on this topic in a week or so, which is blogspeak for sooner or later, but while you are waiting, I want to add one point.

If you are an indy ebook author that wants to increase sales, write. The easiest path to sales is to multiply the number of products for sale. If you hope to make a living, or even hope to make a car payment with ebook sales, you need to train yourself to be prolific. Keep that in mind.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Mr. Cook and I both believe in a eighth piece of advice. Believe very strongly. Never, ever quit.

Mark H. Walker served 23 years in the United States Navy, most of them as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver, he is the author of Desert Moon, an exciting mecha, military scifi novel with a twist, World at War: Revelation, a creepy, military action, with a love story, alternate history, World War Three novel thing, and numerous short stories. They are all available from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing right here. Give them a try. What the hell?
