Mac and Cheese

Gotta go short today. The Over Da Edge's version of Julie & Julia Mac and Cheese. Tired from standing at the convention all day, but good tired. It was fun. It occured to me that game conventiosns are not only about passion, but also about stories. The story of the guy in the next booth over. He owned a large toy company, large enough to be licensing Cloud Strife action figures, but lost it all in the recession. Stories about the T-72 platoon that braved the massed fired of six American tanks to storm Bergengipfel, stories about the nine-year old who was at his first game convention, Virginia Tech whomping Boston College, and President Obama winning a Nobel Peace Prize. It was a good day, any day stuffed with stories is a good day for a writer.

See you tomorrow.

A Nobel Peace Prize.

Really?

I mean...

Really?

We're kind of baffled over here as well. As I said to a friend, at least Reagan ended one (cold) war.

Obama got the price for not being GWB, is my analysis...

Allthough I wasn't an Obama supporter, I think he has the potential to be a pivotal president. Of course the odd thing about this Nobel prize is awarding it on the basis of potential.
