A Blog on Blogging
I'm going to throw another short out pattern today. Dedicated readers and American Football followers will know what I mean. To those on the other side of the Atlantic, I guess the give-and-go analogy will work. In short, this will be short.
We (you reader people and I) are two+ weeks into this experiment and I still don't get it. I've read the books about how you can "Blog Your Book to the Top!" On some level, some undefinable level, I believe that, but I'm not really sure how to do it. Excerpts from the book--the book in question is Revelation--would seem logical. Those are provided in the older posts, and when the book is published, or nearer publication, I'll post more, but unless I intend to serialize the book online, there are only so many excerpts I can post.
I thought I might get some ideas by perusing famous, or at least semi-famous, authors' blogs. Well, I do see where some use their blog to post interesting promotional tidbits on book signings, progress, etc., that's a good idea, and one that I'll employ. On the other hand, and I won't mention any names here, I've found that some authors post on the most annoying drivel imaginable. Do I realy, really care if my favorite author had a hard time finding his cell phone today?
Anyway, I'll work on refining what I write. They way I look at it, this should be not only something I enjoy writing, but also worth your time to read. Of course, come November 1st, the point will be moot. That's the day we embark on the great crusade. I so hope that I can see it through.
See you tomorrow.

Thanks for reading the book, Andy. No doubt there will be a sequel to Revelation. After all, we still need to nuke Paris! I mean no harm meant to the French, but it's in the World at War timeline. :-)
The November project is also set in the WaW world. Or that's the plan, it might take some help from a shoe horn to squish it in, but that is the plan.
Yes, I'm coming up to Fall In for sure.
