Trent Dilfer once said that he could teach ESPN sports analyst Colin Cowherd how to throw an NFL-quality out pattern in thirty minutes. "There's nothing to it," Dilfer said. Well, this piece is the out pattern of blog posts, short and easy.

I'm off to Virginia International Raceway today to watch some road racing. I've been a big fan of racing (road racing, left and right turns... the NASCAR stuff, not so much) since I was a little kid. I raced slot cars when I was a youngster, and then grew into racing open wheel cars when I grew up. Even won a championship in southern California. But enough bragging (can there ever be enough bragging?), the point is that I love it and it's what I'm doing today.
