Thor's Day: On Conjuring, Lawyering Zombies, and Chrissie Hemsworth

I don't have a lot for you guys and gals today. Very busy at work yesterday, and was still tapping the keyboard at 11:15, which is a minute past one of my favorite movies. I do have time to share some pretty cool stuff that is coming up within the next month or so.

Cool thing number one is Thor: The Dark World. I think Chris-Hemsworth-as-Thor hit his stride in The Avengers. The Dark World is going to be everything that Agents of Shield isn't, in other words exciting, well-cast, and well acted. Due out November 8th.
Michon. Just your typical pre-zombie apocalypse lawyer.

Cool, or at least semi-cool, thing number two is The Walking Dead.  Of course, if you haven't heard of this TV series you might just be living dead. I loved the first episodes, but since Darabont left I feel the show is substituting bloody for edgy. Will I still watch it? Sure. Will I leave the room when the 73rd walker pulls a crimson tendon from someone's arm? You bet.

The last member in our trinity of cool is The Conjuring. The movie releases for digital download on October 8th. To be honest, I haven't seen it, but everyone says it is fantastic. I love horror movies, and I really love horror movies in October... especially if the wind is swirling the leaves on the street.

See you tomorrow.
