The Ten Best War Games for Eurogamers
The world is full of board gamers. The hobby has simply exploded since the early 1990s. That’s great news for gamers, but not so much for war gamers. Many avid players of Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride would rather watch reality TV than pick up a copy of Twilight War (that is a war game, right?). So the war gamer’s challenge remains, “How do I convert all these Eurogamers to war gamers?”
No one has the complete answer, but it might lay in your ability to break them in slowly. Teach them a low complexity, war-like board game. And what games would those be?
