Who are the Feroxi and What are They Doing in my Game?
We are one week into to this adventure and the response has
been overwhelming. I have received dozens of emails from well-wishers. I think
I have answered them all, but if not... thank you!
There is just a ton of stuff to do. Everything from updating
Wikipedia entries to starting up the Consimworld (still aren't up) and BBG
pages for Night of Man, Yaah!, Stamford Bridge , and Flying Pig
Games.
We are prepping Night of Man for a release on
Kickstarter. That in itself is almost a full-time job. I have a little
something to share with you all today. The game's third race, the Feroxi. They
will be available as a stretch goal in the Kickstarter campaign. As it says in
their KS campaign blurb.
The Feroxi. Turns out the Killers aren't alone. They have
their own enemies. In fact, the Feroxi are just about everyone's enemy.
Vicious, reptilian, and brilliant,
Feroxi warriors can teleport into a
skirmish, waste the opposition with their scatterguns, and teleport out. Their
Shamans are even more deadly. The Shamans can control others, move large
objects (like Abrams tanks), and even alter the flow of time. Here's a Feroxi
Warrior. They carry a melee blade and autogun. Be careful, the autogun files
poisonous shells.
NIGHT OF MAN is a science-fiction, card-driven, board and counter, tactical battle game, designed by Mark H. Walker. It is on Kickstarter until December 31st. You can view the Kickstarter page and place a pledge right here.
Mark H. Walker is the owner of Flying Pig Games and happy as hell about it. He is the designer of Night of Man, Lock 'n Load, World at War, Nations at War, and a bunch of other stuff. He served 23 years in the United States Navy, most of them as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver, and lives and games in Virginia.
