And the Sequel to World at War: Revelation is...
The Third World War continues. At least in the fiction that
is my World at War universe. I won’t say how the series’ first novel,
Revelation, ends, but I will say that it doesn't end the war. Obviously this begs a sequel, and I’m not the only person to think so. Many of the novel’s
four and five star reviews close with the words “can’t wait for the sequel,” or
something like that.
It’s not as if I haven’t written in the world since
Revelation’s publication. Everyone Dies in the End and "The Greatest Fear" both
are set in the World at War universe. But I get it, I understand. You folks are
asking for a sequel with the same characters, set immediately after Revelation.
Well, so do I. That’s why I’m writing it.
Titled Retribution, the novella takes places within days of
the events depicted in Revelation. The big players are back. The work includes
Mike Hudson, Matt Dahl, Katarina, a pack of werewolves, a bunch of tanks, and
some seriously intense combat. When will the novella release? I’m hoping I can
get it into your hands before the New Year. I’ll have an excerpt ready for the reading within
the next two weeks. So stay turned.
Mark H. Walker served 23 years in the United States Navy, most of them as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver, he is the author of Desert Moon, an exciting mecha, military scifi novel with a twist, with plenty of damn science fiction in it despite what any reviewer says, as well as World at War: Revelation, a creepy, military action, with a love story, alternate history, World War Three novel thing, and numerous short stories. They are all available from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing right here. Give them a try. I mean, what the hell?
