Don't Smooth The Edges

Another short out pattern. I told you that I’d be tossing these every now and again. Next novel entry will be December 2nd.
Busy, busy Thanksgiving that threw me a little behind. Ate too much Thursday, worked at the game company Friday, Saturday I saw Fourth Kind…good movie, but are we still at the point where folks need to be convinced we aren’t the only intelligent beings in the universe? We also watched Paranormal Activity. Well done, but not exceptionally scary. Rumor has it that the end—which in the current form doesn’t satisfy—was changed because the original creeped people out. It’s too bad, I’m paying to be creeped out. Please don’t wimp on me Paramount
Sunday was game day with friends. Great folks. We played Small World. Sedate design. Difficult to imagine it was someone’s game of the year in 2007. Next on the table was Dust, Fantasy Flight’s interpretation of the Paolo Parente comic books. Not a bad effort, but it left me with a need to cleanse my palette with a real war game. Come on, people, stop smoothing the edges. We won’t cut ourselves, honest.
I’ll be back Wednesday. Cindy promises to drop in for a visit. You remember her, right? She’s the teleporter with the mean shotgun.
