Update on '65 Squad-Level Combat Shipping, The Kickstarter for Dark War: Retribution, and Platoon Commander Deluxe at Flying Pig Games
Hi Folks,
My apologies for my blogging absence. Here is the latest update on what is going on with me and the Pig. '65 Squad-Level Combat and all Kickstarter components are completed. The games coming to England (Gamesquest is fulfilling our European orders) left port on December 7th. The games shipping to America (Norfolk) left on the 10th. Both shipments will be arriving about January 10th. One week in customs and we should start shipping.
We will ship to the States from our fulfillment house in Martinsville, VA. Starlit Citadel will fulfill our Canadian orders and Game's Capital our Australia and New Zealand orders. We will be drop shipping to Starlit and Games Capital from here in Martinsville, so those folks will be a little bit later getting their copies, but much better than we did with OST.
China Division will ship our China-Japan-Korea orders. They will probably begin shipping before anyone else. They are waiting on us to send them Stalingrad maps for the 65-OST-Stalingrad orders that tie together. Non-Stalingrad orders should ship sooner.
My next Kickstarter will be for my novel, Dark War: Retribution and will include numerous pieces of beautiful art, such as this pic of Katarina, a RPG campaign, and other goodies as stretch goals/pledges.
Following Dark War: Retribution we will run the Kickstarter for Platoon Commander Deluxe: Kursk (PCD:K). Based on Tiny Battle's Platoon Commander, PCD:K will be FPG's first release in the series with HUGE 1" counters, equally large mounted maps, refined rules, and lots of tank platoon on tank platoon combat.
In addition to this we are hard at work testing the scenarios for Old School Tactical II and evaluating several new designs for both Flying Pig and Tiny Battle. I'll keep you up to date on that stuff.
Oh, BTW, Yaah! Magazine issue #8 is now available for pre-order. Pre-order to get over 10% off of the beautiful, perfect bound, full-color magazine and Race to the Sea game, which includes 36 playing cards, 88 professional-grade die cut counters, and a 12" x 18" map. The magazine and game are at the printers and we will be shipping by early January. Order here.
Mark H. Walker served 23 years in the United States Navy, most of them as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal diver. He is the owner of Flying Pig Games as well as Tiny Battle Publishing the designer of the aliens-invade-Earth game Night of Man, the Communists invade South Vietnam game, '65, publisher of Old School Tactical, and the author of Desert Moon, an exciting mecha, military science fiction novel with a twist, with plenty of damn science fiction in it despite what any reviewer says, as well as World at War-Dark War: Revelation, a creepy, military action, with a love story, alternate history, World War Three novel thing, Everyone Dies in the End, and numerous short stories. All the books and stories are available from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing right here. Give them a try. I mean, what the hell? Dark War: Retribution will release as soon as Mark figures out how/when to run a Kickstarter for it.
